2008 Event Tops $240,000
Thank you to everyone who made the 2008 CNU Scholarship Golf Classic and Auction a runaway success. Our 2008 event raised more than $240,000 for endowed scholarships, supporting top students as they pursue an education at Christopher Newport University.
Those attending the event enjoyed a memorable day of golf at the James River Country Club in Newport News, musical entertainment courtesy of Bill Deal's Rhondels, and the evening auction and raffle. The many auction/raffle items included trips to celebrated events like the MLB All Star Game, plus luxurious getaways to Pebble Beach, Naples and other popular locales.
